Executive team

Michael Cooper – Managing Director
Michael has been with The Athlete’s Foot since 1988, fulfilling a number of operational roles including management of store operations and the merchandising function. Michael was appointed Managing Director of The Athlete’s Foot in March 2002. Michael holds an MBA from Macquarie University.

Peter Rich – Property and Franchising Director
After various operational roles and then moving on to gain experience elsewhere, Peter rejoined the company in 1999. Peter has been involved in franchise recruitment and support, construction and property development. Peter was appointed Property and Franchising Director in 2010. Peter holds a degree in Human Movement Science and a Masters in Business and Commerce.

Suresh Kumar - Divisional Manager - Finance
Commenced with The Athlete’s Foot in 2001. Suresh has extensive experience in excess of 20 years in multi-faceted organisations, specifically in areas of financial management, accounting and systems monitoring. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Mark Teperson – Director of Multichannel
Mark has been with The Athlete’s Foot since 2009, and is responsible for eCommerce, CRM & Digital Strategy. Prior to joining The Athlete’s Foot, Mark was General Manager for Shoes & Sox and was Director (and co-founder) of Product & Marketing for the Shoe
Superstore. He was appointed Director of Multichannel in 2012 and holds a Masters of Management, and MBA degree from Macquarie University.

Caroline Squire – Head of Marketing
Caroline joined The Athlete’s Footin February 2015 bringing over 20 years of consumer, brand and retail marketing experience gained from global brands such as LEGO, Jurlique and PlayStation. Prior to joining The Athlete’s Foot, Caroline had a long, highly successful tenure as Director of Marketing at LEGO ANZ. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University, New Zealand.

Ant Hudson – National Sales & Operations Manager
Ant joined The Athlete’s Footin November 2015 with over 20 years experience in leading retail teams in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Middle East and South Africa. Most recently, Ant held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Luxottica Australia/New Zealand, responsible for the OPSM and Laubman & Pank brands.

Peter Harewood – Head of Product
Peter has worked for the biggest retailers and brands in the world including Nike, Intersport and most recently Vice President at Footlocker Europe. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge having worked in many countries across the globe focused on product and trends. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Polical Science from Bethel University, Minnesota
