The Ascent Oxide 2 is a durable, antistatic safety boot that prevents the build-up of static electricity by evaporating it through the vulcanized rubber sole, preventing a potential charge turning into a spark. Engineered with the highest level of cushioning in the Ascent work boot range, the midsole incorporates premium dual-density polyurethane for abrasion resistance, ultra-soft underfoot cushioning, and built-in arch support. The high-quality full-grain leather upper is water-resistant, hard wearing, and breathable, whilst also includes anti-bacterial and sweat wicking properties to keep you cool and comfortable during a long work day.

Features
Upper
The premium full grain leather upper molds and adapts to the natural footshape, whilst being both naturally insulating and breathable. Designed to be ultra-durable, hard wearing, and is resistant to high temperatures or tearing. The Composite Safety Toe Cap is lighter than steel, airport friendly, and delivers strong impact and compression protection.
Outsole
SRC slip resistant, specially formulated vulcanized rubber outsole with custom shaped tread pattern. Provides sufficient slip resistance to prevent a fall when working on a low friction surface such as oil spilled on metal or soapy wet tiles. This is the highest level of slip resistance.
Midsole
Dual density polyurethane midsole is firm on the outside for abrasion resistance, and soft under the foot for plush comfort. Containing a PU Arch Support Insole for lasting cushioning, and is removable to accommodate to custom orthotics if needed. The BUNGEE™ technology delivers superior energy return for a natural spring, enhanced stability, and heightened shock absorption.
Interior
DRILEX lining wicks sweat away from the foot, keeping your feet cool and dry. Also consisting a CRIB™ Midfoot Stabiliser to support the arch area, and reduce stress on the ligaments.
