Designed for long, recovery runs, the Asics Glideride Max provides energy savings and smooth transitions in a lightweight, ideal for the runner seeking the ultimate maximum cushioned package to increase their weekly mileage. An inherently stable full ground contact outsole geometry, coupled with a wide basenet, compliments the Hardened Press EVA plate that is sandwiched between a layer of responsive FF Blast Max and cushioned FF Blast Plus Eco for an incredibly smooth and efficient ride. Asics combine their Hybrid Asicsgrip outsole with AHAR and AHARPLUS rubber for enhanced traction and maximun durability.

Recommended Size: Fits As Expected For Most People

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.
