Recommended Size: Fits As Expected For Most People

Low Arches This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Narrow Heels This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Very Low Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Very Narrow Feet This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

The Asics GT-2000 features an improved and more lightweight upper allowing for a more accommodating fit while breathable mesh with an additional seamless underlay ensures increased durability

Outsole

To help your foot move more efficiently from heel strike through to toe off Asics use their Guidance Line technology. Also found in the outsole are AHAR and AHAR Ride + ensuring durability and added cushioning

Midsole

The new GT-2000 features FluidRide, Asics' latest midsole technology. This, along with Gel cushioning in both the heel and forefoot provides increased cushioning and bounce back, while Dynamic Duomax supports your foot, helping to control pronation. All of these features combine to ensure comfort, support and shock absorption making this Asics' most popular running shoe

Interior

For a customised and personalised fit around your heel Asics use PHF (Personal Heel Fit) in this wide fitting shoe, a system using memory foam which moulds to the shape of your heel for a more individual fit
