The Asics Netburner Shield™ is designed to provide advanced stability for athletes performing dynamic movements on offence and defence. Featuring a tri-density midsole with DUOMAX on the medial side, and a 7mm heel to toe drop to help reduce stress on the knees during quick movements. A TPU TRUSSTIC™ helps to improve stability, while a seamless support panel in the upper locks in the foot for more controlled, and comfortable movement.

How it fits?

Recommended Size: Fits As Expected For Most People

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

Upper

Mesh upper provides breathability, while a seamless panel underneath the mesh vamp helps create better support while allowing the foot to move more freely.

Outsole

Non-marking, solid rubber outsole fully wraps to maximise durability of the shoe. Larger flexion grooves in the outsole's forefoot allow you to experience smoother transitions on the court.

Midsole

Multi-density midsole combines FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning with a TPU TRUSSTIC™ unit for enhanced comfort and stability during side-to-side movements. The DUOMAX™ technology is an added protective feature to reduce load on the knees.

No-sew design improves flexibility.
