The Brooks Mens Beast 16 Wide running shoes are fit for those who require a shoe to support a low or flat arched foot types that pronates severely. The features in these shoes will offer maximum support and the cushioning and shock absorption required
Technology
- Element mesh to prevent irritation to the sides of the forefoot
- HPR rubber compound in the heel and HPR Green in the forefoot for premium wet-dry traction
- Tri-density medial post to help slow the rate and degree of pronation.
Features
Upper
This shoe uses strategically placed Element mesh to prevent irritation to the sides of the forefoot as well as providing excellent breathability and moisture management. A support feature for the severe overpronator is the use of an internal support 'saddle' which provides added stability both medially and laterally
Outsole
With durability in mind Brooks have used their HPR rubber compound in the heel and HPR Green in the forefoot for premium wet-dry traction
Midsole
To provide the severe overpronator with the support they require Brooks have used a tri-density medial post to help slow the rate and degree of pronation. This has then been reinforced with a Accel plate to provide additional motion control. The Beast has also been constructed around a straight last for added motion control which features full length DNA. This cushioning system reacts to the amount of force placed on the foot providing you with your optimal level of cushioning
Interior
The moisture management materials continue into the interior which will help with blister prevention and overheating of the foot
