Designed for trail runners who like to go fast, the Brooks Catamount 3 utilise a nitrogen-infused DNA Flash midsole that is lightweight and effortlessly lends responsiveness and adaptive cushioning for the ultimate fast ride. A SkyVault Trail Plate compliments the DNA Flash midsole by enhancing responsiveness and providing an efficient running experience. The outsole is made from a TrailTack Green Rubber comprised of 25% recycled content, and offering superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces.

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Narrow Heels This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Narrow Feet This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

Outsole

Made from a TrailTack Green rubber with 3.5mm lugs and a split outsole in the heel which morphs to varied trail terrains to keep your ride incredibly smooth and stable. Lugs are strategically placed to provide enhanced agility and precision.

Midsole

DNA FLASH nitrogen-infused midsole adapts to your stride, generating responsive cushioning and energy return. Embedded within the midsole, a SkyVault Trail Plate is designed to provide an efficient and fast trail running experience.

Interior

TPU Overlays reduce the weight of the shoe and increase flexibility while securing the foot in place.
