Your adventure starts here. The Hoka Anacapa Gore-Tex is a sustainably crafted day-hiker, designed to take you across any terrain in comfort. Engineered in a lightweight, yet durable leather exterior, and Gore-Tex waterproofing membrane to keep feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. The versatile silhouette features recycled polyester elements, and employs extended heel geometry to promote smoother heel-to-toe transitions. Trail tested over 2000 kilometres, the Anacapa utilises a Vibram Megagrip outsole that tackles any rough, wet, or uneven terrain you may encounter.

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

Features

Upper

Lightweight nubuck leather upper certified by the Leather Working Group. Engineered with Gore-Tex Footwear Fabric made from recycled textile, keeping feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions.

Outsole

Vibram MegaGrip Outsole provides maximum grip in wet and dry conditions.

Midsole

Compression molded EVA midsole for a balance, cushioned ride. The extended heel geometry promotes smoother heel-to-toe transitions.

Interior

Molded PU Sockliner delivered from 50% soybean oil. Recycled polyester content is also located in the collar, mesh, and laces.
