The Wave Plate technology works in conjunction with a plush and responsive Mizuno Enerzy foam designed to provide the ultimate underfoot feel no matter how many KMs you are running. An all new and improved Jacquard Air Mesh Upper enhances medial support and provides friction resistance all whilst maintaining a breathable and supportive fit.

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Wide Feet This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

The X10 carbon rubber outsole is fully connected and utilises minimal flex grooves to deliver a propulsive feel and stable transitions.

Midsole

Mizuno ENERZY delivers excellent softness and rebound while maintaining durability for comfortable daily training. Featuring Mizuno Wave Plate technology that evenly disperses shock upon landing, providing cushioning with no sacrifice to essential stability.

Interior

The Mizuno Wave Inspire 20 features a cushioned and removable sockliner made from 90% recycled content.
