Monday - Turkey and Cheese Roll-Ups
Start off the school week with a fun, no mess, easy-to-eat option. Take a whole-wheat tortilla, spread a thin layer of cream cheese, add slices of turkey, and add some shredded carrots and lettuce. Roll up the tortilla and fillings tightly, cut into pinwheels, and you’ve got a healthy bite-sized lunch. Pair this with a side of grapes, a handful of pretzels, and a small container of hummus for dipping the pinwheels. That’s Monday out of the way, let’s move on to the rest of the week.
Tuesday - DIY Mini Snack Platter
Much like the popular Lunchables kids’ snacks, there are many varieties you can make yourself (that are a lot healthier). Pack a bento-style box with shredded or diced chicken, some cheese slices, whole-grain crackers, and cucumber sticks. This mix-and-match style lets kids make their own bites, making lunchtime a little more adventurous. Throw in some mixed berries and finish with a small piece of chocolate or a mini cookie as a treat.

Wednesday - Cold Pasta Salad
A nice cold pasta salad is perfect to keep energy levels up through the school day. Cook up a batch of pasta the night before and toss it with some cherry tomatoes, olives, diced cucumbers, shredded chicken, and a little olive oil and lemon juice. The great thing about pasta salad is that it lasts for a few days in the fridge for some extra meals in the week.
Thursday - Bagel Sandwich
Change up the menu by swapping bread for a bagel. Spread some cream cheese or peanut butter on each half of the bagel, adding banana slices or a light layer of jam. It’s a sweet and filling twist on a classic sandwich. Add some sliced apple and a small tub of yogurt to round it out.
Friday - Pancake Dippers
Finish up the week some mini pancakes. Pack them into a lunchbox in a small container with some maple syrup or fruit yogurt for dipping. Add some cut up banana and apple slices to balance the meal. Like the breakfast for dinner vibe, it still works perfectly for lunch.
