THINK PINK – SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
The Athlete’s Foot has partnered with the McGrath Foundation to help raise much needed funds for the placement of breast care nurses within families who need extra support after their breast cancer diagnosis. It is not only important for us to raise money for this cause, but to educate our customers on the importance of breast health.
To help increase awareness and encourage conversation, our stores across Australia have turned PINK, however, our stores are not the only things turning pink this year. Miranda, a health enthusiast and nutritionist, has developed a THINK PINK smoothie bowl recipe for us to share with our customers. It is EASY to whip up at home (or even at a breast cancer awareness party) and perfect to share with family and friends whilst thinking about the importance of regular health check-ups.
Ingredients
- 2 medium ripe frozen bananas
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup frozen dragon fruit
- ½ cup frozen pineapple
- ½ cup frozen mango
- Splash of coconut milk to help blend (if needed)
- Toppings - fresh fruit, coconut, granola
Instructions

We’d love to see your smoothie bowls! If you whip up this recipe, make sure to share it on Instagram and tag @theathletesfootaustralia and #MyFitLife
Miranda is passionate about nourishing her body through food and fitness and loves creating healthy versions of everyone’s favourite foods to show them that living a “healthy lifestyle” does not only mean eating kale salads and drinking lemon water. She says, “I’m addicted to the way eating well and exercising makes me feel – healthy, motivated and energised”. While food and exercise play a vital role in her lifestyle, she believes that health comprises far more than just our bodies. It relates to every aspect of our lives including how we look after our minds and our relationships with ourselves and those around us.
