Upper
New Balance feature a 'No-Sew' application in the mesh upper of the 1080, this prevents irritations and ensures a soft and comfortable fit around your foot
Outsole
With durability and cushioning in mind New Balance have used N-Durance, a rubber compound in the heel and blown rubber in the forefoot for added shock absorption
Midsole
Even those with rigid feet need to be stable, New Balance use their T-Beam shank and an asymmetrical heel counter to hold the foot in place while an Absorb crash pad as well as N2 in the heel and forefoot provide your feet with soft and plush cushioning underfoot ensuring responsiveness and shock absorption with every stride
Interior
In addition to collar foam being used around the heel for a snug fit , New Balance has used a synthetic liner internally for comfort and durability
