With durability in mind Ascent have used a durable dye-through full grain leather with a firm thermoplastic heel counter for heel support and thermoplastic reinforcement at the toe to prevent deformation of the upper over time. In addition to this they have also used reinforced metal eyelets for durability
Outsole
Knowing the importance of durability Ascent have used a rubber outsole
Midsole
The moulded EVA midsole provides long lasting cushioning throughout the life of the shoe, reactively cushioning the foot through its walk. A nylon shank, heel stabiliser and firm heel counter supports the foot through even the most active days
Interior
Continuing the durability internally this shoe has been lined with cushioned mesh
