The Asics GT-1000 14 is the definition of versatile stability. The newest iteration of the GT-1000, combines lightweight support with responsive cushioning for running as well as training in the gym. The engineered mesh upper offers breathability and lightweight lockdown without the need to additional overlays. The new FlyteFoam Blast midsole delivers soft, cloud-like cushioning whilst maintaining a responsive ride. PureGEL heel technology assist with impact absorption, added with the 3D Guidance System to enhance stability with the wider base, helps provide on-demand stability when logging your daily kilometres.

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.
