Strategically placed raised midsole walls provide additional security where you need it, combined with a widened base and additional flex grooves to provide additional stability when landing on uneven surfaces. 4mm trail specific lugs and a biomimetic design which draws from anatomy of mountain goat hooves for control over tough terrains.

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

Upper

Sandwich air mesh with TPEE fibres and a perforated tongue that provides quick drying features reduces the overall weight of the shoe, increases flexibility, and is durable and debris resistant.

Outsole

Made from a TrailTack Green rubber with 4mm lugs and a split outsole in the heel which morphs to varied trail terrains to keep your ride incredibly smooth and stable. Enhanced stability and control on rugged terrains thanks to a Biomimetic design which draws from anatomy of mountain goat hooves.

Midsole

Featuring nitrogen-infused DNA Loft v3, Brooks' softest cushioning optimised for light weight, responsive, and durability with plush comfort. Medial and lateral sidewalls is raised in strategic places to create a cradle like fit.

Interior

Lined with soft & comfortable, quick drying polyester fibres that are lightweight and flexible.
