Refined with all-new geometries and a hyper-focus on construction, the HOKA Rocket X 2 has been engineered for elite runners as HOKA's pinnacle race day offering. Sandwiching a propulsive carbon fibre plate between a new and improved, ultra-responsive and performance-oriented PEBA foam, the HOKA Rocket X 2 exhibits a greater rebound and an inherently stable ride. Foam cutouts in the outsole allow for a reduced overall weight, without sacrificing any of the durability thanks to the implementation of zonal rubber placements. The HOKA Rocket X 2 offers up a technical synthetic mesh upper that boasts a premium fit and enhanced breathability.

Average Arch Height This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.

Average Heel Width This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.

Average Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.

Average Foot Width This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

Outsole

Zonal placement of highly durable durabrasion rubber reduces the overall weight of the shoe whilst maintaining excellent durability and traction.

Midsole

By sandwiching a carbon fibre plate between two layers of dual density and highly-resilient PEBA foam, the PROFLY X midsole construction provides cushioned landings that reduce fatigue and promotes a propulsive toe-off.

Interior

A dual-sided gusseted tongue and internal midfoot cage provide a secure, ready-to-race fit.
